President
- Set priorities
- Coordinate resources amongst officers, enhance general communication amongst officers
- Prepare agendas for each meeting, keep meeting on track
- Provide feedback and support
- Facilitate discussions
- Final decision maker (including on how to use our money)
- Provides summaries of discussions with National, and other external people to keep the team in the loop

Vice President
- Fill in for the President in case of his or her absence.
- Act as a liason to other organizations, both inside and outside Stanford.
- Organize annual retreat to kick off the new year.
- Help out other officers as needed.

Director of Projects
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partner NGOs around the world
- Evaluate project opportunities with partner NGOs and work collaboratively to define scope.
- Organize and facilitate CEE 177S/277S. Help develop curriculum, find and contact guest lecturers,
- Recruit and mentor TA for CEE 177S/277S.
- Evaluate student applications for CEE 177S/277S.
- Recruit interns for field-based project work.

Secretary
- Write weekly minutes and action items, post them to the wiki
- send emails out to lists for upcoming ESW events
- organize ESW participation in activity fairs on campus
- Inform ESW members and supporters of ongoing ESW activities and efforts (At the beginning of the year I had wrote a monthly newsletter, but that devolved as we became busier. I think maybe a quarterly newletter outlining quarter goals and general ideas for the organization would be manageable and beneficial.)
- post directional signs for ESW events (so people can easily find our events)
- Attend weekly meetings and be ready to contribute ideas and efforts to ESW. A lot of this involves making contacts for ESW workshops and speaker events.

Director of Fundraising
- Network with engineering departments, Stanford centers and organizations to secure fundraising for our projects, internships and classes
- Coordinate Stanford Fund Letter Writing
- Work with Treasurer and President to determine budget and contact sponsors

- Attend ASSU Financial Officer workshop;
- Provide timely reimbursements
- Coordinate a budget meeting:
- Categorize reimbursements to aid in creating a budget for the following year
- Update officers on current balance
- Complete a Financial Report summarizing the year’s financial transactions.

Director of Events
- Lead/Organize brainstorming and search for campus events
- Propose a plan for the events of each quarter to the Officers
- Coordinate the booking or scheduling of each event
- Ensure that each event runs successfully
- Provide event information to Director of Public Relations
- Fill out an Event Log on the website that includes how the event was organized and how successful it was

- Lend valuable insight, knowledge and connections to the chapter.
