EFS 688/688V Application
Information
July 6 through August 14, 2009
To apply for either the Graduate (688) or Visiting
Scholars (688V) intensive English program, please follow the directions below.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
1. Read the course descriptions and make sure
which is the right program
for you.
2. Print the application form and follow the directions on
it.

- If you cannot read Adobe PDF files,

3. Read the General Information and review the Frequently Asked Questions on
the application form.
4. Return the completed form to the EFS Office.
If you have problems getting the application from our website, request one
from EFS Summer Programs, Language Center, Building 30, Suite 106, Stanford
University, Stanford CA 94305-2015 USA. Fax (650) 725-9377; email
triesen@stanford.edu.
The entire EFS application must be received by May 20, 2009.
Note: because of new visa policies in the US, overseas
applicants are strongly advised to return it as soon as possible but no
later than May 1.
You may FAX your application to English for Foreign Students at (650)
725-9377; however, you must also send the signed original application by regular
post to the above address for our files.
General Information
- Applications are handled on a first-come,
first-served basis. Due to variations in mail
delivery to different countries you may not receive a
response to your application for three weeks or more.
We will express mail only if we receive a money order
or credit card authorization for the cost of FedEx
shipping.
- Applicants must have completed a university degree
- Campus dormitory housing information and applications
will be sent to you upon acceptance.
- Programs and housing often fill up so it is recommended that
applications be sent as soon as possible. Housing for married couples
and families in particular is limited.
- EFS acceptance letters, registration instructions and
university information packets will be sent after
April 10. Contact
