We practice what we teach

This year we hope to prototype our way to the launch of our first d.lab—and the K-12 initiative is currently the one we're looking at to help us forge this path. What would a lab look like d.school-style? How can our efforts have a life beyond our classes? And, how do labs relate to bootcamps and classes? Ultimately, we imagine dschool labs to be places where we can apply design thinking to real-world projects with the goal of making a contribution to the world. We might forever fix homework for K-12 education, enable millions of farmers to step out of poverty, or fundamentally change how businesses innovate. This effort will start small this year, and ramp up in the years to come.
