The d.school executive education programs are designed to increase the ability of both individuals and teams to innovate, and to improve one's creative confidence as it applies to myriad business challenges. The focus is on developing people's capabilities and in turn fostering the innovation capabilities of the organization. The d.school shapes innovators using a human-centered process with hands-on, experiential, iterative learning.
In a workshop, executives engage in hands-on projects to learn the d.school's human-centered, prototype-driven approach to innovation. Executives experience a complete design cycle: empathy by observation, project definition, prototyping new-to-the-world innovations, soliciting feedback and iterating. Participants are immersed in field settings and engage real users to discover deep consumer insights and leverage low-res prototyping to get to unexpected big ideas. Embedded coaches guide executives through each stage of the innovation process and provide insights on how to apply design thinking to everyday work processes.
Open-Enrollment
The d.school offers 2 open-enrollment programs each year, in July and November. Individuals and small teams are invited to apply.
Customized Boot Camps & Leadership Programs

Customized programs are designed to tackle your organization's unique challenges to innovation as well as to amplify existing processes that lead to success and replace the ones that don't.
On-site Speaking Engagements
Representatives of the d.school will travel to your organization and conduct a one-hour, half-day or full-day workshop devoted to imparting design thinking through a customized design project.
