Using Panels to Make Smarter Pages

There is much you can do with Drupal and Panels. In this session I am looking to introduce people to one of the great and flexible options available in Panels... a node panel. It sounds innocent enough, but the power and options that become available to the site builder, once a node is "smart"... can open the door to a new world for a beginning or intermediate site builder.
GOAL:
Achieve a basic comfort level with node panel so you can begin using them right away.
