Tad earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in 1999. Since then, he has worked on the design of bio-tech research and automation equipment in New Mexico and California. He joined the Denny lab in October of 2002 to develop instruments for their biomechanics research - some design of new toys, some enhancement of existing equipment - and maintain some field experiments. Tad finished up in the lab in Fall of 2003 and started graduate school at Stanford with a focus on biomimetic robotic and sensor design.
