PERMIT
APPLICATION/RENEWAL PROCESS; RECORDS OF SPECIMENS COLLECTED
Scientific
collecting permit applications are available on the DFG website
Applications take about 12 weeks to process, and permits are valid
for 2 years for "residents" (i.e. faculty and staff),
1 year for "students". Fill out the application
to allow for possible changes in your collecting needs; otherwise, changes
must be made by amendment.
Applications
for permit renewal must be accompanied by a report of past collecting
under the old permit. According to the instructions on the collecting
