As a result of one of my (many) crashes this season, my right shifter is nonfunctional and needs replacement. I'm buying a new one on eBay but it will take a little while for it to get here. I would like to continue riding (and racing this weekend) so I was hoping someone might have a spare they wouldn't mind lending me until the new one comes in. The one I broke is dura-ace 7900 but ultegra 6700 or the analogous 105 would be great too. If you've got one you wouldn't mind lending me for about a week please let me know!
It's time to start thinking about team officer positions for next year. Below is a list of the many officer positions that must be filled to keep Stanford Cycling running like a well-lubed drivetrain. I have also included the names of the people currently in each position in case you want to contact them to find out more about what's involved. Just about every job is available since even if the incumbent officer wishes to continue in his or her position, since it's always good to have a new person being mentored to ensure smooth transitions between years. There are a few positions not up for grabs. The first is the Treasurer position, which is one of two positions on the team which are two year positions. The other is the president. The second is clothing: Eric Gibbons is taking over this role from Jason.

My 2011 Specialized Tarmac 52cm with a red and white paint job (team bike

It has distinctive Vittoria evo green striped tires and black handle bar

I have two grad student friends who are looking to do more road biking at
Stanford. They used to ride at home (they're international) but say they're
just looking for fairly low budget beginner bikes.
I told them I'd help them explore the used market first and then suggest
places to look if no one is selling. Since I am not particularly
rolling at 7:05
See you in the morning!

I'm cleaning out some old stuff and came across an old pair of Sidis I used
to ride. They've still got a lot of life left in them and would be great for
someone getting into cycling. $25 for anyone here who wants them before I
put them online for $50.
Let me know if you're interested
