Now you practice!

ERIC indexes two types of materials: journal articles and ERIC documents. Let's try a search.

  1. In the Quick Search box, type "adhd" and click Search.
  2. Notice that Attention Deficit Disorders is one of the Descriptors (at the right) in many of the results.
  3. Click on one of the Attention Deficit Disorders links under Descriptors.

The number of results should double. Your first search found ADHD as a keyword. In this case, using the official ERIC Descriptor brings up a greater number of results.
