Curriculum Guides

There are two major collections of curriculum guides available at Stanford. New materials are online, while older materials are on microfiche in Cubberley Library's South Reading Room (to your far left after you enter the library).

ERIC

ERIC contains thousands of curriculum materials. Start with the ERIC database. Many items are available there in full text. For older items see the ERIC Microfiche Collection.

Kraus Curriculum Collection

The Kraus Curriculum Development Library is an extensive collection of curriculum guides for K-12 and Adult Basic Education. Start with kcdlonline to find the most recent materials. Use the guides in Cubberley's South Reading Room to identify older materials. The guides are indexed in a cumulated subject index published annually.

This collection is built upon a core of materials acquired from the Fearon-Pitman Curriculum Development Library by the Kraus Publishing Company in 1978. The selection process does not attempt to censor any material, but rather to select the material which will be of use to the widest audience as a model for curriculum development efforts.

The microfiche may be read and copied at the adjacent microfiche reader/printers.
