Stanford Kant Lectures

The Stanford Kant Lectures are an invited series sponsored by the Stanford University department of philosophy. Philosophers are invited to reflect on the state of the art in their field and to report on current research in a way that is accessible to the broader community of scholars, educators, students and the public at large. Topics range from Kant's philosophy of science to the nature of human desire. The Kant Lecturer is selected by the department in light of its judgement that the speaker has a deep understanding of the issues in his or her field, and a vision of their connection to questions of lasting concern across academic disciplines.
