Helen Nissenbaum

The author's aim is to discover the conception of emotion that is couched in a commonsense view of the world and is reflected in ordinary discourse.

Helen Nissenbaum was a postdoctoral research affiliate at CSLI. She is now (2014) Professor in Media, Culture, and Communication & Computer Science and Director of the Information Law Institute at New York University.
