Zymla, Mark-Matthias & Fiotaki, Alexandra: Perfective non-past in Modern Greek
This paper presents an analysis of the Greek tense/aspect system with a particular focus on the perfective non-past. It relies on the ParGram feature space for morphosyntactic analysis and the ParTMA semantic annotation scheme for the semantic analysis. The whole analysis is computationally implemented making use of the Xerox Linguistics Environment (XLE), the Glue Semantics Workbench (GSWB), and a new system for rewriting syntactic representations inspired by XLE’s transfer system.
