Research Interests

  • Low-temperature condensed matter physics with an emphasis on basic and applied superconductivity
  • Advanced superconducting materials, devices and structures
  • The application of tunneling phenomena
  • The fabrication of high operating temperature superconducting devices and circuits
  • The use of vapor-deposited artificial structures as model systems for fundamental studies such as phase transitions, chaos, and reduced dimensional systems
