Admin Course Materials allows you to upload and link files to your course Web site. The Course Materials Tool lists only online materials for your course. These can include files, which are uploaded from your computer, and Web pages, which are linked by saving their URLs. You cannot list content other than computer files or Web pages in Course Materials. You will want to list textbook readings and other non-online reading assignments in a syllabus that you can link to or display in the Syllabus Tool. You can add course materials inside or outside or folders. You can collapse, expand or re-order groupings of content. Additionally, you have the option to define when and for how long particular course materials will be available to students in Student View. Faculty and TAs can also use CourseWork to add materials to e-reserves and can view links to print course reserves in Stanford's libraries. Digital-format items placed on "e-reserve" can be uploaded directly into Course Materials. Any class that has print materials on reserve in the library will automatically get a content link in the Course Materials page. This link will open a web page in a new window displaying a list of materials on reserve, their location, and availability. The link will look like other HTML Document links added to Course Materials, and will be titled "SUL Print Reserve List." To raise awareness of copyright compliance, you will be asked to provide copyright information about content that you are uploading to your CourseWork course. Additionally, when accessing Course Materials or Admin Course Materials for the first time, you and your students will need to "accept" a brief statement that you will abide by copyright regulations when using or posting materials to CourseWork. Until you click Accept on this screen, you cannot enter the Course Materials Tool. You only have to accept this statement once. You can get to Admin Course Materials by using either of the two methods below:
