Generate Public Syllabus Wizard

On the Admin Syllabus page, click the Edit link to the right of Generate Public Syllabus? to start the Generate Public Syllabus wizard. This wizard generates a public version of your syllabus that people can see without a SUNet ID and password.

Step 1

Select "Yes" to generate public version of your syllabus, which will be available at http://www.stanford.edu/class/your_class_name/coursework/syllabus.html.

Note: Selecting "Yes" will overwrite any syllabus page which currently exists at "/afs/ir/class/your_class_name/WWW/coursework/syllabus.html" and can be viewed at "http://www.stanford.edu/class/your_class_name/coursework/syllabus.html." Make sure you save your customized syllabus under a different name if you want to create a public syllabus via CourseWork.

Click Save to advance to the next step. Click Cancel to exit without making changes.

Final Step

In the final wizard screen, CourseWork confirms your choice of whether or not to generate a public version of your syllabus. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Admin Syllabus page.
