Generate Public Homepage Wizard

Use this wizard to generate a public version of your homepage that people can see without a SUNet ID and password.

On Admin Course Homepage, click the Edit link to the right of Generate Public Homepage? to launch this wizard.

Step 1

Select Yes to generate public version of your course homepage, which will be available at “http://www.stanford.edu/class/your_class_name”.

Note: Selecting Yes will overwrite any Web page which currently exists at “/afs/ir/class/your_class_name/WWW/index.html” and can be viewed at “http://www.stanford.edu/class/your_class_name”. Make sure you save your customized homepage under a different name (i.e., other than index.html) if you want to create a public homepage via CourseWork.

Final Step

In the final wizard screen, CourseWork confirms your choice of whether or not to generate a public version of your course homepage. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Admin Course Homepage
