You have the option of sending email to your entire class, to individual section(s) or to individual people in your class. The Create New Email wizard, (available once you click one of the Send links on the Admin Email page), is where you type and send your message. On the Admin Email page, click the Send link to the far right of Entire Class. Place a check mark on the appropriate check box(es) to determine whether you want to send email to the Full Class or to individual sections. Enter the title of the email and type the body of the message in the message box. Select yes next to CC Me if you want to send a copy of the email to yourself. Otherwise, leave the setting to its default value of “no”. Click Next to advance to the next step of the wizard. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Prev to go back and make changes to Step 1. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Save to send the email. In the final wizard screen, CourseWork reports that you've successfully sent the email and saved the email on your course Web site. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Admin Email page. On the Admin Email page, click the Send link to the far right of a section. Enter the title of the email and type the body of the message in the message box. Select yes next to Email Self if you want to send a copy of the email to yourself. Otherwise, leave the setting to its default value of “no”. Click Next to advance to the next step of the wizard. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Prev to go back and make changes to Step 1. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Save to save the email on your course Web site and to send the email. In the final wizard screen, CourseWork reports that youve successfully sent the email and saved the email on your course Web site. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Admin Email page. You can send email to a specific person from 3 different areas in Admin Email, from the Full Class, Specific Section or Specific Person views. To get to the Full Class view from the Admin Email page, click the Review link located to the right of Entire Class. You should see the following breadcrumb trail: My Courses > Admin Course > Admin Email > Full Class Click the Send link to the right of the person to launch the Create New Email wizard. Enter the title of the email and type the body of the message in the message box. Select yes next to CC Me if you want to send a copy of the email to yourself. Otherwise, leave the setting to its default value of “no”. Click Next to advance to the next step of the wizard. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Prev to go back and make changes to Step 1. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Save to save the email on your course Web site and to send the email. In the final wizard screen, CourseWork reports that you've successfully sent the email and saved the email on your course Web site. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Admin Email page. You can get to the specific person view from the full class or the specific section views. Full Class View On the Admin Email page, click the Review link located to the right of Entire Class. You will now be in the Full Class view. Now, click the Review link located to the right of a person's name. You should see the following breadcrumb trail: My Courses > Admin Course > Admin Email > Full Class > “Name of Person” Specific Section View On the Admin Email page, click the Review link located to the right of the specific section. Click the Review link located to the right of a person's name. You should see the following breadcrumb trail: My Courses > Admin Course > Admin Email > “Name of Section” > “Name of Person” Now, click the Send New Email to < Name of Person> link on the upper left of the page to launch the Create New Email wizard. Enter the title of the email and type the body of the message in the message box. Select yes next to CC Me if you want to send a copy of the email to yourself. Otherwise, leave the setting to its default value of “no”. Click Next to advance to the next step of the wizard. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Prev to go back and make changes to Step 1. Click Cancel to exit without making any changes. Click Save to save the email on your course Web site and to send the email. |
