I'm a sophomore political science major from Colorado. I enjoy skiing and doing things outdoors, but I also enjoy following politics. On campus I spend my time editing the Stanford Review as the features editor. I also enjoy doing things with my Christian fellowship, Intervarsity, and with Stanford Conservative Society, of course. This past election season I worked on Ken Buck's senate campaign in Colorado. I hope to someday go into public policy.

Grant Starrett
Founder
Grant founded SCS in 2007 to fill a void of conservative activism on campus. Starting with a few motivated members and an idea, he built the organization into a force to be reckoned with. When Grant graduated in 2009, SCS had hosted a string of successful events and had a membership roster of over 550. While at Stanford, Grant also wrote and raised money for the Stanford Review, served as El Presidente de Casa Zapata, and was an active member of RUF. In national politics, Grant worked for the Republican National Committee, the White House and FoxNews. In 2008, he served as chairman of Students for Mitt Romney, through which he raised over $250,000, organized thousands of students nationwide, and campaigned in Iowa, California, and elsewhere. After graduating from Stanford a year early with a history degree, Grant wanted to continue his education at the behest of 19th century railroad industrialists and took off for Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville, Tennessee, where he now lives.
