Random Fact Holds the Cochran Lab record for fastest miniprep! Education MS in Bioengineering, Stanford University, 2006 Research The Met receptor is a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell proliferation, motility, differentiation, and survival. Dysregulated Met signaling leads to a phenotype of invasion and metastasis in many types of human tumors, suggesting it may prove an effective target for cancer therapy. My research involves engineering Met ligands for altered binding to provide insight into structure-function aspects of Met binding and activation.
