Stanford Climbing Wall - Comp 4/7/2007

You are cordially invited to participate in the first annual Stanford Rage Against Gravity Bouldering Competition!

When: Saturday, April 7th, 2007. Regular competition from 10am-4pm.
Finals from 5:30-6:30 pm.

Where: Stanford University’s climbing wall, Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation. Most permit parking lots are open to anyone on weekends.

Who: Anyone with an active university affiliation, including current undergraduate students, graduate students, medical students, professors, associates, etc.

Why: Meet climbers from all over the Bay area, climb some hard problems, win some sweet prizes, and have a blast!

Details:

3 levels: beginner, intermediate, elite
Men’s and women’s divisions
Finals for top three climbers in the elite division for both men’s and women’s
Prizes for top three climbers in every division in both men’s and women’s
Climb as long as you want, score the top 5 problems – so come early and climb often!
Subtract points for every attempt
Overachievers will be bumped up to the next level
During overcrowded conditions, we will initiate a rotation to ensure everyone gets to climb
Waiting area will be provided for all climbers to relax and hang out when not climbing
