SAVE THE DATE: DAY @ THE BEACH
Have fun in the sun with C@S! We will be hosting a day at the Santa Cruz
Beach Boardwalk...with a Catholic twist. Spend some time enjoying the
sunshine as well as some time with God and fellow Catholics. The trip will
be on Saturday May 17 from Noon-6pm. More details to come but in the
meantime contact Estella (cestella@stanford.edu) with questions.
WEDNESDAY DISCUSSION SERIES
In the book of Revelation, the visionary is asked “Who are these, robed
in white, and where have they come from?” After over a decade, people
are used to seeing men and women in the distinctive Dominican habit around
MemChu and the Catholic Community. But there is a lot more to the
Dominicans than a cool habit. For example, did you know that Dominican
Order is among the oldest thoroughly democratic societies in the history
of the world? (Dominicans have been electing their superiors, including
women, for 800 years.) Come and find out more interesting things about the
Dominicans with Fr. Carl on Wednesday, May 7 in the Old Union Common Room
at 7:30 pm.
CROSSROADS FELLOWSHIP
We meet every Tuesday at 8pm on the 3rd Floor of Old Union, Common
Room. If you’re interested in finding out more about it or want to try
it out, we’ll see you on Tuesday. For more information, contact Chris
Hammen (chammen@stanford.edu).
