PRAYER PARTNERS
When good or bad news happens, the rest of the community would really like to share your joy or support you in difficult times. We would like to start putting in the bulletin the names of those who would like us to pray for them and for their families, for whatever reason. Simply e-mail Chaplain Nancy Greenfield (nanccas@aol.com) with your information by Wednesday mornings, and she will make sure it gets in the bulletin the following Sunday. Let's journey together!

GRADUATE STUDENT FELLOWSHIP
The Graduate Student Fellowship will have its first meeting of the quarter on Tuesday, April 1 at 9 pm. The topic of discussion will be the recent encyclical from Pope Benedict entitled "Spe Salvi," on Christian hope and how we can incorporate the hope based on our Catholic faith as a foundation for our lives. Please e-mail jhammen@stanford.edu for more detail. All are welcome.

YOUNG ADULTS

FAITH IN ACTION

You can become better informed and help affect the process at key times by signing up to receive electronic news letters and action alerts. Sign up for the national list with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops or the California Catholic Conference (the policy arm of the California dioceses). We can make a difference!

VALLOMBROSA RETREAT CENTER
Sacred Healing Retreat: "Your faith has healed you--go in peace": Jesus has given us the secret and the power to heal ourselves, as well as to heal our Earth. All we need to do is to find the key to access the power! Come and learn this healing code to unlock the mysteries of the radical message of Jesus: "The Kingdom of God is within you." Using our own bodies as portals to the divine energy of God, we will experience the interconnectedness of the chakras, the sacraments, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the beatitudes of Jesus, to become the healing light of Christ to our world. This retreat will be offered in two different ways:
A two hour session, once a week for six weeks beginning on April 1 and concluding on May 13 (skip April 15). All six sessions need to be attended in order to receive the real benefit.
A weekend retreat, May 23-25 (Friday evening through Sunday lunch). Joan Prohaska, O.P., a Dominican Sister of Mission San Jose, will lead this retreat experience.
Please call 650/325-5614 or visit our website for information or to register.

"CHOICES OF THE HEART" VOCATION RETREAT
All single Catholic women 18-45 years of age are invited to participate in a Vocation Reflective Discernment Retreat with the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul, April 25-27, 2008, at Seton Provinciate, 26000 Altamont Road, Los Altos Hills.
