The Berlin Peace Innovation Labs utilizes Design Thinking with Mobile, Facebook, Maps and Wiki Technology to solve social problems. We want to organize meet-ups where we can discuss, learn from speakers and actually hack new innovation to use our skills here to solve real life problems.

NOVEMBER 2011: PIL Co-Directors Mark Nelson and Margarita Quihuis kicked off the launch of the Peace Innovation Lab Buenos Aires in partnership with the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires November 10-16 2012. They held a two day workshop where an assembly of stakeholders from technology, finance, NGOs, government and academia gathered to apply behavior design, rapid prototyping and d.school methodologies to find measurable interventions to challenges of conflict within Buenos Aires. The Buenos Aires lab directors Fernando Johann and Juan Manuel Menazzi organized a series of meetings with Google, Banco Santander and the Argentine press to bring attention to the launch of the new lab.
