Recipients of the 2012-2013 Magic Grants Selected

We are pleased to announce the awarding of the 2012-2013 Magic Grants to three teams:

• Personalized Television News - Brendan Jou and Hongzhi Li (Columbia) and David Chen, Andre Araujo, and Sam Tsai (Stanford)
• Connecting the Dots: Building Dynamic Maps of News - Dafna Shahaf and Seth Myers (Stanford)
• Dispatch: A Mobile Publishing Protocol for Conflict Reporting - Kanak Biscuitwala and T.J. Purtell (Stanford) and Mathias Lecuyer (Columbia)
