The Stanford Spring Faire is a juried fine arts and crafts show, and that means you will need to send in 5 photographs of you crafts and 1 photograph of your booth. The application is due at midnight February 15, 2008. We have around 100 spaces reserved for artists and around 15 spaces reserved for food vendors. Typically, our artists create works in leathercrafting, woodworking, sculpture, painting, photography, clothing, ceramics, jewelry, pottery, paper crafts, and glassworking. However, we do not restrict to these categories and we welcome all crafters to apply.
We charge a $275 flat-fee for artists and a $325 flat-fee for food vendors. We do not charge a comission. Acceptance to the faire entitles you to a 10' x 10' outdoor booth space for all three days. Please note that you must bring all the supplies you need to set up your booth to the faire, although we can provide some basic items such as tables, electricity, and water for an extra charge.
The faire attracts a diverse audience from around the Bay area, and approximately attracts more than 10,000 people every year.
The Faire is an outdoor event, so please make sure to plan for that. The show hours are from 10am-6pm every day Fri-Sun, and the main setup session will start at 6am on Friday. Parking is on Stanford Campus away from the actual location of the Faire, although you can bring your vehicle to unload your supplies. A shuttle will be provided from the parking lot to the Faire. We will provide more details regarding set-up after in the acceptance information packet.
Stanford Spring Faire is proud of the high caliber of work we promote. To ensure the continued quality of the show, we will accept only handcrafted work created by the vendor. Please note that any vendor suspected of selling imported or non-handcrafted goods will be asked to leave without a refund of the booth fee.
