This very hands-on 3-hour workshop will allow you to create and manipulate your own GIS data from scratch. Topics covered are: georeferencing of raster images, creation of vector data (digitization), importing GPS and table data into GIS and basic data management concepts in GIS (geodatabase vs shapefiles).
