|
Coming from Falun, Sweden, I studied Engineering Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and classical piano at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm. In 2004 I moved to Paris to become a French engineer, learn French and enjoy Paris, as a part of a two year exchange program at Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP). I received my M.S. from KTH and ECP after completing my master’s thesis here at Stanford, in Richard N. Zare’s lab. Then, in the fall of 2006, I joined the PhD program in Physics. My interest in biophysics grew stronger after I moved
to the U.S. and in 2007 I joined the Block lab.I work with Megan Valentine
on kinesin family motor proteins.
