Jobs in the Blau Laboratory

Postdoctoral Fellow in Stem Cell Biology

STANFORD UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

Cutting edge stem cell research. Elucidation of molecular mechanisms underlying nuclear reprogramming and dedifferentiation. Position available for candidate with recent degree Ph.D. Expertise in molecular and cellular biology a must. Cell sorting (FACS), fluorescence, confocal microscopy, mouse models, mammalian cell culture, and retroviral and lentiviral transduction desirable. Position involves deep RNA sequencing, ChipChip and other techniques necessary for gene discovery, mechanisms underlying stem cell fate decisions (see http://www.stanford.edu/group/blau). Position is at the Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist level in the Baxter Laboratory for Stem Cell Biology in the Center for Clinical Sciences Research. Stanford offers a humane, supportive environment in which to pursue your career with an excellent benefits package.
