Be warned that BIR has themed issues, and we choose artists partly on the basis of relevance to our theme. In the future, we will post themes for upcoming issues on the website, but alas, we haven't gotten around to it yet.
Writers
If you are writing anthing that you think ought to be in Black Ink, let us know! Send your ideas to:

We are happy to receive both reviews and essays in all subjects, as we aim to print the best essays by students regardless of their interests. Our motto is, after all, "Your words, our ink." Be warned, however, that BIR has themed issues and we include essays partly on the basis of relevance to our theme. In the future, we will post themes for upcoming issues on the website, but alas, we haven't gotten around to it yet.

We can always use an extra person working on any aspect of production, from layout to distribution or in working with our advertisers.
