Provide FEEDBACK

Congratulations! You've completed this mini-course in medical technology innovation. The concepts you've learned form the basis for critical decision making in medical-technology companies big and small. By now, you should have identified the clinical need and target market, assessed the intellectual property position of your technology, developed a business model and formed an appropriate team to carry it out, evaluated the regulatory and reimbursement implications of your technology, and developed a business plan and financial model for the early stages of your technology venture.

From here, the work certainly isn't over! You've now done all the independent research you can do; now, you need to go and market your idea to those who can help you bring it together. Assemble the team you need. Find funding through angels, friends, or venture capitalists, depending on what's appropriate. Find resources to help you overcome the technical and business challenges that you may have identified during the process. The entrepreneurial process is challenging, but you've made the first steps. Don't give up!
