Location - Workshop and Parking

The Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center is located at 326 Galvez Street, at the intersection of Campus Drive and Galvez Street.

From Highway 101 North & South:
Driving: Take the Embarcadero Road exit west - toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the Stanford campus. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. The Alumni Center is on the right side of Galvez Street (look for palm trees), just after you cross over Campus Drive.

Parking: Before arriving at the Alumni center, turn right on Campus Drive, parking is on the right in Galvez Field.

From Highway 280 North & South:
Driving: Exit Alpine Road east - toward Stanford. Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Junipero Serra Blvd. Turn left at the second traffic light and onto Campus Drive East. Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station. Follow Serra Street until it ends and turn right onto Galvez Street. The Alumni Center is on the left side of Galvez Street (look for palm trees).

Parking: Passing the Alumni Center, turn left onto Campus Drive. Parking is on the right in Galvez Field.

From El Camino Real:
Driving: Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto). As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. Go through one traffic light, and turn left onto Campus Drive. Turn right onto Galvez Street -- The Alumni Center is on the right (look for palm trees).

Parking: On Campus Drive, past Lasuen Street, just before Galvez Street, turn left onto dirt road that leads you to straight into Galvez Field Parking.

Location - Schwab Residential Center (Networking Event)

The Schwab Residential Center is a convenient, attractive residential complex located just a few blocks from the Stanford Business School and the Arrillaga Alumni Center. The Center is a complex of small three- and four-story apartment buildings set among landscaped courtyards on the Stanford Campus. It includes a fountain, grassy areas, a courtyard filled with palm trees and another area that hosts a small orchard of ornamental fruit trees.

Directions from Highway 101: Take the Embarcadero exit west and cross El Camino Real. Embarcadero becomes Galvez Drive. Turn left on Campus Drive until you Serra St. Turn right on Serra St and continue until you reach the Center on your left. Parking is across the street from the center on your right.

Directions from Highway 280: Take Alpine Road exit east. Turn right on Junipero Serra, and turn left on Campus Drive. Follow Campus Drive until you Serra St. Turn right on Serra St and continue until you reach the Center on your left. Parking is across the street from the center on your right.

Hotel Information

The Sheraton Palo Alto and the SLAC Guest House are both nearby. The Sheraton has standard hotel rates for Palo Alto, the SLAC Guest House is quite inexpensive. Although the Guest House is at SLAC, there is shuttle service to the University. Here is the contact information.
