- Senior executives in the Medtech space with 10+ years of management experience across a wide array of departments, including Marketing, Research & Development, Business Development, Strategic Planning, or Product Development; who are responsible for leading innovation efforts within their organization.
- Academic faculty and department chairs who are responsible for training and are challenged with the task of developing an innovation program within their departments.

Where will the course be held?
The course will take place at the Schwab Residential Center across from the Knight Management Center on the Stanford University campus.
What is the cost of the course?
The cost of the course is $14,500. Tuition includes all meals, lodging and local transportation. Early registration and group discounts are available.
Is early registration available?
Early registration is available before November 15, 2013. The cost for early registrants is $13,000.
Are group discounts available?
Group discounts are available for groups of 6 or more from the same company, when applying at the same time. Please contact us for more details.
What is included in the course fee?
The course fee includes, 3 nights of lodging at the Stanford Park Hotel (Wed March 5 – Sat Mar 8), transportation to course events, all meals and all events.
What if I do not want to use the course lodging?
The course is designed as an intense, 3.5 day experience, where teams will be interacting constantly. The venue sites have been specifically chosen to maximize the collaboration within participant teams throughout the day and evening events. We strongly encourage all participants to stay at the Stanford Park Hotel during the course; however, if participants choose not to, we will be unable to offer any tuition discount.
What does “hands-on” training entail?
Course participants will be given opportunities to mentor Biodesign Innovation Fellow teams in real-world case study examples and expected to apply the knowledge they have learned from class sessions.
If I apply, am I automatically guaranteed a place in the course?
No, all applications will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of their status within 2 weeks of applying. Due to the small course size and specificity of the course material, selection into the course will be based on the applicant’s educational background, work experience, accomplishments, and the degree to which their career interest is a match for the course material.
