This program serves as a gathering for Black men in the academic community. The purpose of the program is to provide personal monitoring, research centered advising, and community development opportunities for Black men in the graduate student community.

| The brothas of BGSA are heading out to Dave & Busters (http://www.daveandbusters.com/) this Friday. BGSA will be subsidizing the game cards (i.e. free games) and partially subsidizing appetizers. Please RSVP ASAP, but no later than this Thursday (2/21) at 10 PM. Also, we'll be meeting at the Tressider Marguerite Bus stop at 7 PM for carpooling; in your RSVP, please indicate if you are willing to drive. |

We will be hosting our 1st Visible Men event of the year on Saturday, October 20 at Jide's and Ekine's apartment in EV. Please RSVP ASAP, but no later than this Thursday (10/18), 10 PM. Also, if you have any favorite games at home, bring them too and let me know in your RSVP.
Finally, if you have a video game console (and games), let me know since we don't have one at this point.
