Studing in the USA
The purpose of Belgica is twofold. We bring together Belgians and other students interested in Belgian culture to exchange ideas about the experience of living in the United States and to help each other with the integration process. Secondly, we participate every year in several cultural events organized on the Stanford campus to introduce and promote the Belgian culture to the members of the Stanford community. Studying in Europe
Do you know anyone who is eager to learn more about Europe and the EU?
Where better to study Europe than in Brussels!
The
Institute for European Studies (IES), a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is ideally located near to the European Institutions and offers two Advanced Master (Master-after-Master) programmes:
MSc in European Integration and Development (EuroMaster) and the
LLM International and European Law. Both of these programmes combine prominent academics in the field, as well as carefully selected EU practitioners, providing an ideal combination of theory and practice.
The IES also offers a
Summer School on European Policy-Making. This is an inter-university programme organised together with the University of Vienna and the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. The intensive two-week programme,
2-14 July 2012, comprises one week in Brussels and one week in Vienna. It is ideal for young professionals, last year Bachelor students or Master-level students.
Tuition fee waivers are available for both the Summer School as well as the Master programmes.
