Climaxing a week of hilarious excitement, the Class of 1930 will sponsor an all-University Axe Jolly-Up in the Pavilion from 7 to 9 o'clock tomorrow night. Inasmuch as the twenty-one famous "Axe Racketeers" will be the recipients of the major part of the honor, the honor, the decorative motif for the evening will be the beloved tomahawk with certain symbols extending a delicate note of sympathy to the bereaved Californians. Music for the affair will be supplied by the largest orchestra ever secured for a jolly-up. And, for that added attraction, Speegle, Carter, and Co. have planned another of their renowned skits.
Fraternities which are rushing tomorrow night have already agreed to close their activities at 7 o'clock, and to postpone rushing meetings until after 9.
Tear Bombs, Bank Vaults, and AXES! All these will serve to remind Stanford students of the biggest thing that has happened in 31 years when they are used as decoration motifs by Sequoia Hall this Friday night, April 11, when the hall will give a special Axe Dance, in honor of "The Boys," Stanford's heroes of the hour. Some new angles in Stanford decoration are promised by James Purcell, chairman of the committee.
The dance will last from 9 to 1, with bids selling at $2 apiece. It has been necessary to limit the number of bids to 75. They will be sold in Sequoia Hall, the time and the place to be announced in tomorrow's Daily.

Who worked the camera? Who threw the bomb? Who nabbed the axe? And how did they get away with it? All this and more will be unfolded in a specially prepared burlesque skit at the Hall-Axe tonight in Toyon Hall at 7:15. all freshmen are invited.
Hot dogs and pop, smokes, and a snappy program built upon the axe capture have been provided by the smoker committee, headed by Burnell Gould. Popular speakers have been engaged.
