AXE "THIEF" FINDS CARD, HOLDER TORN

The first act of vandalism done to any member of the band 21 axe "thieves" was reported late last night by Matt Lehmann, '31, who figured in the fight atop and around the armored car during the raid.

Lehmann spent Saturday night at a friend's house in the city, parking his car in front of the house. Yesterday morning he found his registration certificate neatly torn into quarters, the imitation leather holder slit into five strip, and the pieces strewn about the street. Nothing else on the car was touched.
