Scott D. Cook
Founder, Intuit, Inc.

Mr. Cook co-founded Intuit Inc. in 1983 and now serves as the chairman of the Executive Committee of the board.Before founding Intuit, Mr. Cook managed consulting assignments in banking and technology for Bain & Company, a corporate strategy consulting firm. Prior to Bain, he worked for Procter & Gamble, the household-products giant, in various marketing positions, including brand manager, for four years.
Mr. Cook is a member of the board of directors of eBay; Procter & Gamble; The Asia Foundation; the Harvard Business School Dean’s Advisory Board; The Center for Brand & Product Management at the University of Wisconsin; and the Intuit Scholarship Foundation.Mr. Cook holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and mathematics from the University of Southern California and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Daniel Walker

Dan Walker has worked in the field of Human Resources since 1974. After four years in the U.S. Army Security Agency and his graduation from the Ohio State University with a B.S. in Psychology, he joined Lazarus Department Stores (a flagship division of Federated Department Stores). During a nine-year career with Lazarus, Mr. Walker rose from trainee to become Vice President, Human Resources.

In the mid-1980’s Mr. Walker joined Gap, Inc. He ultimately became the VP Human Resources and played a critical role in the growth of the company. On Mr. Walker’s shift at Gap, the company implemented many of their now legendary innovations. Among the most well known were the creation of Gap Kids and Baby Gap, the renovation of the Banana Republic brand and expansion to the European market. He left Gap, Inc., in 1992 to become an entrepreneur.

In 1992 Mr. Walker founded Daniel Walker and Associates, Inc. The focus of DWA was the recruitment of senior officers for high-growth companies. In addition, the company made direct investments in early stage ventures.

Adeo serves on the Board of the X PRIZE Foundation, a non-profit chartered to inspire human achievements through competition, joining a recognized group of Trustees that includes Larry Paige, Craig Ventor, Elon Musk, and Dean Kamen, among others. Mr. Ressi is a serial entrepreneur, focused on launching companies in new markets. Over the course of his career, Adeo was an early pioneer in the growth of the World Wide Web, an advocate for the burgeoning private space exploration industry, and a champion of casual games and related entertainment. Mr. Ressi’s affable and honest business style has helped him to build and grow companies from inception to market leadership.

Joel Peterson

Joel Peterson is the Founding Partner of Peterson Partners, LP, a private equity firm focused on small-to-medium-sized growth companies. Mr. Peterson as been a lecturer at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University since 1992 where he has taught courses in real estate investment, entrepreneurship and leadership. Mr. Peterson is currently the Lead Director at JetBlue Airways and at Franklin Covey. He has served as a director at Asurion, the Dallas Market Center, Texas Commerce Bank (Dallas) and on a number of other boards, including the Advisory Board at the GSB and on the President’s Council at his alma mater. He is the former National Managing Partner of Trammell Crow Company where he also was its CFO for 10 years and CEO of Trammell Crow Residential for a brief stint in the mid 1980’s. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. He and his wife, Diana, have been married for 34 years and have 7 children and 8 grandchildren.
