August 22, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
We will be hosting a free one-day workshop focused on musculoskeletal modeling and simulation with OpenSim, a freely available, open source software package we are developing. The workshop will be held on August 22 (8:30am-5:30pm) on the Stanford Campus. The goal of the workshop is to provide an introduction to our simulation software so that others can use it for education and research. You can learn more about the project reviewing the material.

A preliminary agenda for the workshop is listed below.

8:30 am Introduction to musculoskeletal modeling and simulation with OpenSim
9:30 am Tutorial 1: computation of muscle-tendon lengths, moment arms
11:00 am Tutorial 2: computation of muscle forces
1:00 pm Tutorial 3: generating muscle-driven dynamic simulations
3:30 pm Under the hood: software structure
4:30 pm Consulting on individual projects
5:30 pm Summary and Conclusion

Please send an email to Scott Delp if you would like to attend. We plan to limit enrollment to 25 participants.
