Following the November 7 elections, Arroyo House invites all Stanford
community members to an "open space" discussion of U.S. foreign and
military policy in Iraq and Afghanistan and related issues. The dining
hall will be marked into different regions where discussion groups can
meet on various topics loosely within the theme of the gathering. Anyone
who attends can sign up to host a group. There will be two sessions of
discussion groups, one starting at 8 pm, and one starting at 9. Attend
either or both. Groups may be for general discussion, political
organizing, or disseminating information. Hosts will announce and post
their discussion groups and meeting locations within the dining hall at
the beginning of each hour under a version of the "open space" protocol
(see http://www.openspaceworld.org/cgi/wiki.cgi?AboutOpenSpace for more
info). All points of view are welcome. We will end each hour with quick
report backs from each group to the whole gathering.
Please forward widely within the Stanford community.
