The Stanford Archery Program offers
private one-on-one coaching lessons open to the general public
and the Stanford community. Coaching sessions with either
the top, most experienced archers on Stanford's nationally
competitive team or with Stanford's Head Coach and
U.S. Olympic Team coach Sheri Rhodes (see Meet
the Coaches).
Whereas typical archery lessons--particularly those for beginners
and teenagers--match a single teacher with up to 20 archers,
the Stanford team designates one coach for each student. (For
more information, see Our Coaching Program
below.) Because private coaching sessions are held on the
team's official practice range, archers may also have the
opportunity to observe Stanford's championship team as it
trains for its next competition.
Archers of all ages and experience levels--from young beginners
to adults--are welcome and encouraged to come. High quality
Olympic-style equipment is provided for those who do not have
their own. |
