Submissions/Suggestions

Generation Anthropocene is always looking for new contributors. If you think there is someone out there that should be interviewed for our podcast, please let us know! Even better if you want to get your voice on our podcast and conduct the interview yourself. No previous audio training or interview experience is necessary. If your interview pitch is accepted, the Gen Anthro team will coach you through the preparation for the interview. We also accept other story ideas for the podcast. For example, if you have an idea for a new compilation piece, or any Anthropocene-related story that would make for great audio, we’d be psyched to hear from you.

Know that we honestly read and consider all pitches. Please use the following submission guidelines.

For interviews, please include in your pitch:
- Your full name.
- The full name and title of the person to be interviewed.
- A short description of the person and why they would be great for the podcast. If you know any intriguing stories about the person, include those as well.
- If applicable, any pertinent links to articles, websites, etc.
- If you happen to have a personal connection to the subject please let us know (this is absolutely not required for a successful pitch, however).

For story ideas, please include in your pitch:
- Your full name.
- The story idea in 500 words or less.
- If applicable, any pertinent links to articles, websites, etc.

Email all pitches to Mike & Miles at GenAnthropocene@gmail.com with the subject title “Gen Anthro episode pitch”. We’re excited to hear from you!
