SAC has campsites in Yosemite May 12-13, and Sharon, Eu-Jin and I could teach a class then if there is interest. Otherwise we could do another informal trip. If you are interested in a class or informal trip, please answer a few questions so we can plan a class/trip that would be useful/fun: 1. What is the %chance you would go, assuming the weather is friendly. 2. Would you prefer a class or an informal trip? To help with this, please rank the following in terms of your interest from 1-5 where 5 is most favored: A. Intro class - toproping/rappelling B. Anchors I class - setting toprope anchors on trees, flakes and bolts C. Anchors II class - setting toprope anchors with gear (nuts + cams) Also following multipitch routes, if there are more instructors. D. Informal trip - toproping E. Informal trip - multipitch (would depend on matching leaders with followers; we might be able to do something like Higher or Lower Cathedral Spire). 3. Do you happen to have first aid certification? (It is required to have one person with first aid certification if we have a class, and Sharon, Eu-Jin and I do not have it). Responses I receive by Thursday night (May 3) will be used to choose the type of trip. I'll summarize the results in an email and on the SAC calendar page. Please let me know if you have any questions, too! Sincerely, Clint
