Anchors 1 is rocks, trees, and bolts, and is usually one day at castle rock, and anchors 2 is with trad gear, and usually a full weekend at Yosemite or somewhere similar. The biggest issue is that this is early in the season, so if a storm comes through that weekend, climbing won't work since the sierras will be cold, wet and snowy, and castle rock is sandstone so takes a few days to dry out, so if that happens, the class would likely be a, uh, camping in the Kirkwood parking lot and powder skiing workshop. This is just to gauge interest, so let me know if you would like to see either class, and I'll just see what the weather looks like probably about a week beforehand to see if it'll work. So I think the general info for these trips are: 1. what class (1 or 2) you would want to take 2. climbing experience 3. why you want to take the class 4. some sort of joke/funny or otherwise good story about whatever. Apparently this category is generally pretty weak, so here's some ideas: epics you've had on outdoor trips GOOD jokes (that I haven't already heard, I'm from Colorado, so jokes about a certain large state in the south are always good) Trips overseas to really cool places Stupid things you/your friends have done (high speed chases, airborne vehicles, 2nd degree burns from fireworks, getting kicked out of walmart, anything that involves the local police/fire department, etc) 5. oh yeah, and info such as your name/year/phone# Jared
