Why Rush?

Joining AKPsi connects you to a lifelong brotherhood of driven men and women; a brotherhood consisting of deep, genuine relationships that will open doors for you at Stanford, but will more importantly guide you through a lifetime of professional excellence and success beyond the work world.

So what can you gain from AKPsi?

Brotherhood

As the premier business fraternity at Stanford, we pride ourselves on the strong brotherhood that differentiates us from other campus organizations. The strength and scope of Alpha Kappa Psi’s bonds range from annual social events, such as Special Dinner, Screw Your Bro, and Special Dinner, to spontaneous dinners, concerts, and ___ that result from the meaningful friendships formed through AKPsi. Our motto of “Work Hard, Play Hard” encompasses the way we not only push ourselves academically, but also the importance we place on having a good time.

Professional Development

We strongly believe that professionalism is a crucial aspect to success in all areas of life. Our extensive alumni network and various resources prepares our brothers for success in all fields of work. Through business development workshops, leadership opportunities, and correspondence with top companies, our brothers are placed in an extremely immersive environment to hone professional skills, such as interviewing, public speaking, and resume writing techniques. Additionally, through the alumni mentorship program, our alums work one on one with the brothers to foster the next generation of principled leaders.

Alumni Network

With our extensive alumni network, our brotherhood knows no limits. Our extensive alumni network includes 12 years of brothers entering top companies and firms such as Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, JP Morgan, Google, Facebook, Teach for America, as well as successful start up accelerators and various start up companies. Spread through several countries and across all industries, our alums are always willing to give referrals, connect brothers to those in their respective fields, or even show brothers around a new city.
