Advising

Advisers

The Advising Program is proposed by Professor Tien-Wen Wiedmann and brought to you by a committee of people.

The goal of the advising program is to establish bridges between the students and the faculty members, to facilitate the communication between them and help the students with both their academic and personal lives. We host activities in order to connect the faculties and the students and help the students to promote their personal skills. The past and on-going events of advising program can be found in ACSSS front page.

Here’s the list of Professors in relation with our Advising Program.

Buddy System for New Students

The buddy system is a substitution for the visiting weekend that many international students might miss for various reasons. We therefore wish to provide a glimpse on your prospective life at Stanford before you commit yourself for at least a few years of your time. Several current Stanford students have volunteered to give a short description about their own academic programs. We do apologize if we have not covered your field and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have individual questions or concerns.

Hope to see you all in the fall!
