November 30, 2009 "Abortion in Health Care Reform: The Fate of the Stupak Amendment"        Date and Location: Monday, November 30, 2009, 12:45 p.m., Stanford Law School.        Event Details: Join Professor Jane Schacter for a discussion about the Stupak Amendment in the Health Care Reform Bill, which "prohibits federal subsidies from being used to purchase insurance plans that cover elective abortions." We will be discussing the impact of this amendment on women's reproductive rights, the issues surrounding its creation, and its effect on choice issues in the court system.
