2nd Annual Stanford Scrimmage - Nov 9th

Stanford Taekwondo is hosting a juniors scrimmage on Nov 9th. The event is open to juniors of all levels, ages seven to seventeen. Practice your sparring skills without having to worry about being eliminated in the first round. There will be as many sparring matches as we can fit in, all officiated by our experienced referee corps.

There will also be a campus tour for those interested.

Stanford Ties For 1st Place In Tri-Meet - Feb. 16th

At their most recent tri-meet Stanford and UC-Davis tied for 1st place with 13 wins each. UC-Berkeley came in 3rd with 9 wins.

Stanford’s final tri-meet will be April 5th against UC-San Diego and USC.

Women’s Workout - Dec 2nd

Stanford will be hosting a Women’s Workout on December 2nd. The event is open to green belts and up who are at least ten years old.

Sign Up for Western Collegiates - Nov 17th

This year’s Western Collegiates will take place at UC Davis on November 17th and Stanford will again be competing. The event is open to both color and black belts who are full time college students. This year’s event also has a Juniors division for 14-17 year old black belts. For all the details, please see the registration packet. To sign up online, click here.

Black Belt Testing - Saturday 10/13/2007

Jess Practicing A Split Kick BreakThe Autumn quarter black belt test is this Saturday, October 13th starting at 9am in the ACSR Studio. Stanford black belts should show up with full gear to support the candidates. Color belts, community members, relatives, and anyone else interested is encouraged to come and cheer the testers on.

Black Belt Testing - Saturday 9/1/2007

On Saturday (9/1/2007) multiple candidates will be testing for first Dan or higher. The doors to the ACSR open at 10 am, with the test starting promptly at 10:30 am. Spectators and well-wishers are welcome.
