STANFORD FALL JUNIOR SCRIMMAGE

WHEN: November 14, 2009 from 9:00am - 1:00pm

  • doors open at 8:30am
  • sparring starts at 9:00am

WHERE: Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation, Stanford University

WHO: Junior Taekwondo Athletes (ages 7-17) all belt ranks

COST: $25 at the door - no pre-registration required

Here are some of the highlights of our scrimmage:

  • Unlimited sparring: sign-up for as many matches as you can with other junior athetes
  • 4 rings using electronic scoring
  • Experienced referee and judges

Make sure to bring all your sparring gear as FULL GEAR IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION. A parent/guardian will also need to sign a waiver for the participating athlete the day of the event.

Fall quarter practice starts Tuesday, September 22

Stanford Taekwondo will resume practice at the beginning of the fall quarter on Tuesday, September 22, at our studio inside the Arrillaga Center for Sports & Recreation, with the intermediate class (yellow through blue belt) from 6:15 to 7:30 PM, and the advanced class (red & black belts) from 7:30 to 9 PM, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will also hold our usual practice for all belt levels from 10 AM to noon on Saturdays. We look forward to seeing everyone back.

Our beginner class will start on Monday, September 28, with practice at the San Diego Sports Hall inside Ford Center from 6:30 to 7:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please help us recruit new blood to our club!
