Stanford Summer Chorus, 2007

Is your regular choir on hiatus for the summer? Come sing with the Stanford Summer Chorus!

The Stanford Summer Chorus is a non-auditioned ensemble that rehearses and performs at Stanford University during summer term.

This summer, Rafael Ornes returns to direct the Summer Chorus. Mr. Ornes is Director of Music at Portola Valley Presbyterian Church and creator of the Choral Public Domain website, widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and most used resources for choral music.

Repertoire

This year Summer Chorus will perform Luigi Cherubini's Requiem.

Rehearsals/Concert Information

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7:15-9:45 PM, beginning on 26 June 2007 in Campbell Recital Hall, Braun Music Center, Stanford University.

The Summer Chorus concert will take place Saturday, 4 August 2007, 8 p.m. in Stanford Memorial Church

There is a $30 participation fee per person (waived for matriculated Stanford students and Stanford faculty), plus members purchase their own music, available at rehearsal.
